Pramod Gaikwad
Visual Artist, Designer, Film Maker, Tribal Art & Life Researcher
I am deeply involved in research and
development, creating art that draws inspiration from nature. My focus is on learning
from natural processes and using art to promote health.
I am particularly engaged in
studying tribal food and creativity, with a special interest in documenting the life and
art of the Gond and Baiga tribes of Madhya Pradesh. Additionally, I have a strong
passion for vernacular architecture.
Work Experience
- After completing schooling, I moved to Bharat Bhawan, Bhopal, in 1997.
- Core team member of the design and implementation team at the MP Tribal Museum, Bhopal.
- Visiting faculty for "Visual Art and Designing" at the M.P. School of Drama, Bhopal.
- Provided art and tribal consultancy for the Chhattisgarh Tourism Board, Raipur, C.G.
